How To Write Articles That Captivate Your Readers

Have you ever wondered while writing articles about whether the articles are for your readers, or for the search engines? You can only give your best once you really know this, and that is the first step in learning how to write articles that captivate your readers.

Readers do not make an article viral or get attracted to it, because of the similar content they find on other sites or blog, thus make your writing creative, innovative, new, and useful for the reader.

If you are writing for yourself or your own blog, then you can go ahead and write whatever is in your heart. However, if you want to be sure you really know how to write articles that captivate your readers so that they find your writing interesting; then follow a few tips:

  • Know Your Audience

You need to learn about the topics your readers are interested in, which will keep them captivated and interested in reading your articles. Increase interaction with your readers on your site or blog, by writing articles where they would like to comment on what they read. Share your personal experiences and give them tips as well.

  • Share Your Ideas and Be in Touch

Be open and share your views in your articles with your readers, which could be regarding tips, news, or any writing matter. Readers revisit website or blog to gain useful information and insight.

Therefore, convey the relevant information as if you are connecting directly with them. This makes it easy for them to understand the article and ultimately increases its importance.

  • Use Simple Words

One of the basics on how to write articles that captivate your readers is to provide quality and unique content to your readers, using simple language that they can easily understand. Do not use tough phrases or words, which require the use of a dictionary. Instead keep small, easy to read sentences, and take care of grammatical mistakes while you write.

  • Be Unique and Innovative

Be creative and distinctive in the content you write, providing something new that captivates readers and makes them keep coming back for more. Maintain and follow your own writing style that would make you stand out from the rest.

Remember, if you are wondering how to write articles that captivate your readers, then just be your true self, and remain honest with your readers.

Great post, Harleena! In my positions as newspaper publisher and editor, I used to teach my staff to write their stories on a fifth-grade level. Of course, I can only read on a fifth-grade level! LOL

Hello Harleena very nice article, you have some very interesting points.
I think if you really take your blog serious, and add some good content, you will attract readers. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy but it should pick up after awhile…..Nice post my friend
